Finish, then, thy new creation;It speaks of our deep longing to be changed, our desire for God to complete his work in us, a work that often seems so incomplete in the present. Best of all, it is a prayer - a request. Yes, we long for it. But it is not our work, but thy new creation.
pure and spotless let us be.
Let us see thy great salvation
perfectly restored in thee;
Why is it so easy to forget this? May this week be one of God's working and our surrendering, so that we may all see the wonder and beauty of his great salvation.
